We don’t provide banking details. We conveniently offer trusted payment methods through our integrated PayFast Payment Portal to secure and allocate payments accurately:
Steps to access the PayFast Payment Portal and secure your payment:
Step 1:
Log in to access your Member’s Portal: https://mema.co.za/portal-login/
Step 2:
Option 1: On the welcome screen (landing page) look for the “Balance” tab, and click on the “Pay Now” button to access the payment portal.
Option 2: On the welcome screen (landing page) look for and click on the “My Transactions” tab to access the “Pay Now” button and payment portal.
Step 3:
Choose any off the payment methods below:
Via CASH
Scode
5 Steps to get your 16 digit bar-Scode:
Step 1: Click on the “Pay Rxxx via Payfast now” button when prompted during the registration process, or click on the “Fix This” button after you logged on to be redirected to the “My Transactions” page where you will also be able to access the “Pay Rxxx via Payfast now” button.
Step 2: Select Scode as payment method:
Step 3: Make sure your email displays correctly on the PayFast payment portal and click on the red: “I will make payment” button (as an alternative you can replace your email address with your mobile number if you want the Scode to be send to your mobile number instead).
Step 4: You will receive a unique 16 digit bar-Scode to your registered email address. ( If you would like to receive the Scode via SMS, just delete your email address on the Payfast payment screen, and replace it with your mobile telephone number BEFORE you click on the “I will make payment” button.)
Step 5: Produce this 16 digit bar-Scode to the teller which you received via email, or SMS and inform the teller you want to pay using Scode.
Kindly note:
It can take up to 48 hours for your payment to clear using the Scode option.

Members need to enter their debit card and mobile phone number and then authenticate the transaction on their phone.
